Sureya Ibrahim honoured for exemplary community leadership

The Regent Park community and the Centre for Learning and Development are celebrating one of their own, Sureya Ibrahim, who was recently awarded the prestigious King Charles III Medal.
The recognition highlights Ibrahim's unwavering dedication and impact through her tireless advocacy and community-building initiatives in Regent Park.
Ibrahim's leadership, both through her vital work at the CL&D and her instrumental role in Mothers of Peace Regent Park, has consistently inspired those around her.

The King Charles III Medal was presented as part of the Toronto Centre Leadership Awards, an event hosted last Friday by MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam, which celebrated individuals and groups making significant contributions to the fabric of Toronto Centre.
