Niagara Falls set to host inaugural Halal Cinema & Eid Festival in 2025
Niagara Falls is preparing to welcome a brand-new cultural event to its vibrant calendar: the Halal Cinema & Eid Festival, launching on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre. Organized by Falls Fest, this pioneering event promises a day of celebration, community, and entertainment tailored for Muslim families and the wider public.
The festival, running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, aims to create a joyful and inclusive space for Eid celebrations. A central feature will be the Halal Cinema Premiere, offering films for both children and adults in a dedicated theater setting. This unique cinematic experience will be complemented by a diverse range of activities designed for all ages.
Families can look forward to a sprawling Kids Zone in Hall B, which will be transformed into an exciting playground complete with bouncy castles, obstacle courses, mini train rides, face painting, and carnival games. Creative arts and crafts stations will also be available, providing a safe and supervised environment for children to play while adults enjoy other aspects of the festival.
Beyond the screen and the kids' activities, the Halal Cinema & Eid Festival will feature a Live Stage showcasing cultural acts, spiritual nasheeds, and talent shows. A Halal Food Court will take attendees on a culinary journey, offering a wide array of international Halal flavors and traditions. The festival will also host a Bazaar with local vendors, crafts, and Islamic gifts, alongside inspiring speakers, including notable Sheikhs, influencers, and community leaders.
