# PM Trudeau meets with Muslim leaders

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) and a group of Canadian Muslim leaders earlier this week on Monday February 27, and reassured them of the goverment's commitment to combat Islamophobia.

NCCM commended the Prime Minister for the meeting, "We appreciate your commitment to continue to dialogue with our community to challenge hate. We will confront and challenge Islamophobia together."
