Qurbani meat donated to Canadian shelters and food bank

A Canadian non-profit, Northern Lights Relief Foundation, recently supported a women’s and youth shelter, as well as a food bank by providing qurbani meat from the recently concluded Eid-ul-Adha religious holidays.

The organization distributed meat to Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter, Youth Without Shelter and Flemington Foodbank.

“Northern Lights has been absolutely amazing today,” said Mike Burnett, Director of Youth Without Shelter about Northern Lights Relief Foundation’s Food Drive. “They have come and gotten us a whole array of food items for our youth, both perishable and non-perishable foods.”

“It will help feed the youth that we see in this shelter.”
