Exclusive Screening: Cast from the Storm

The Mosaic Institute presents: Cast from the Storm, an award-winning documentary

The film tells the story of a group of teenage refugee survivors from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and Serbia all of whom attend a high school in Australia where their plight is dealt with in a hands-on and very compelling manner. They meet regularly after school with three passionate teachers to discuss their experiences and turn these experiences into a theatrical production to be shared with their community. The film follows the ebbs and flows of these students as they tell of their pain, document their tales and prepare to debut the show.

It is at once heartbreaking, heroic and uplifting; a cinematic experience no one will soon forget.

This event is currently the only opportunity to see the film in Canada. Tickets are selling fast, so get yours now to avoid disappointment!
