# Annual Yusuf’s Day of Hope

The 10th annual Yusuf’s Day of Hope will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, at Wildwood Park (3430 Derry Rd E.) in Malton.

The event is hosted by Kameeza and Shaykh Imran Ally, a Mississauga couple whose 10-year-old son Yusuf suffers from a rare disorder that causes multiple organ dysfunctions and numerous infections.

The event offers various fun activities for families, networking opportunity and a chance to meet and greet Peel police officers, including chief Jennifer Evans.

Since its inception, the event has raised more than $118,000 in support of the Complex Care Program at SickKids. Last year, it collected $18,000.
