# Muslim world to celebrate Eid ul-Adha on Tuesday October 15

(October 5, 2013) – Most Muslims in North America and around the world will observe Eid ul-Adha on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

Saudi Arabia has declared that the day of Arafah will be on Monday, October 14, 2013.

The [Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA)](http://www.fiqhcouncil.org/?ref=iqra.ca) follow the announcement of Hajj by the authorities in Makkah and celebrate Eid ul-Adha after the day of Arafah. 

Accordingly, they have declared that Eid ul-Adha will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

Meanwhile, the Hilal Committee of Metropolitan Toronto and the Crescent Committee have announced that Eid ul-Adha will be on Wednesday, October 16.
